About The Direct Writing AssociationThe Direct Writing Association is a group of organisations whose joint aim is to facilitate the development of cost effective Direct Writing Technologies across the globe. The DWA provides the industry with an effective communication and dissemination tool including, a Web based directory of UK Direct Write (DW) companies, a database of their capabilities and products, and telephone and e-mail support. One of the aims of the DWA is to identify leading technologies developed in other countries, and spread awareness of these technologies via newsletters and e-alerts as well as establishing interest groups of relevance to the application of Direct Write technologies in priority application areas such as electronics (conformal, large area components for aerospace and defence applications), health (medical sensors, test equipment and pharmaceuticals dosage control), consumer products (customisation, logistics, smart packaging and security). The Direct Writing Association (DWA) provides companies and research centres with the opportunity to share knowledge, and take part in collaborative projects to develop and exploit Direct Writing technologies. |
