2008 Direct Writing Summit

In conjunction with the TSB the Direct Writing Association is hosting a Direct Writing Summit. This will give the 11 TSB Direct Writing funded projects the opportunity to update the Direct Writing community of their achievements since the DWA Conference (16th and 17th April 2007) held at Durham. There is also the opportunity to invite potential collaborators/customers of this breaking technology to view and discuss for themselves the current and prospective achievements.

Opportunity to attend Icebreaker Dinner on Wednesday 26th November at the Menzies Mickleover Court Hotel, Derby**
The Summit is to be held at the Rolls Royce Learning & Career Development Centre, a prestigious venue not accessible by general public.

The Summit will be opened and closed by key note speakers from TSB/DTI (Speakers TBC)
Each Project will be given
- the opportunity to give a 10 minute Elevator Brief of their Project – Timings as below
- a table top exhibition area (5’ x 2’6” tables)
- a Poster Display area (TSB coordinating)
- entry to Brochure (TSB coordinating)
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day including a hot buffet lunch
All the above will enable networking and exchange of best practice throughout consortium of 11 Projects
