Welcome to the Direct Writing Association

The Direct Writing Association is a group of organisations whose joint aim is to facilitate the development of cost effective Direct Writing Technologies across the globe.

The term Direct Writing describes a range of technologies which can fabricate two or three dimensional functional structures, in situ, directly onto flat or conformal surfaces in complex shapes. This can be on a large scale or on the nano scale.

Direct Writing Summit 2008

2008 Direct Writing Summit – Date: 27th November 2008, Venue: Rolls-Royce Learning & Career Development Centre, Derby.

In conjunction with the Technology Strategy Board the Direct Writing Association is hosting a summit to bring all 11 funded projects together to update the Direct Writing Community of their achievements since the DWA Conference held in 2007. This will also enable networking, exchange of lessons learned and plans for commercialisation.
